REASONS FOR KEEPING A CHILD AT HOME:

• FEVER of 100 degrees or more. Child must be fever free for 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medication (Tylenol, Advil)

• Complaints of nausea, headache or abdominal distress

• Head Lice (pediculosis) -  school policy requires student must be nit free to return to school. A parent must accompany student to the school nurse before they will be admitted back to class

• Scabies - must remain out of school until cleared by doctor. The student must also bring a doctor's note to the school nurse.
